Welcome to Real Life: Age 9 · Chapter 9

Your Ripple Project

Time to drop a pebble on purpose. This week, you’re going to do one kind thing, just to see what happens. No prize, no posting it. Just you and the ripple.

⏱ A few minutes to plan, then one real act this week
Kit Ren Tashi

You’ve got the book. Ren already walked you through this in Chapter 9. This page is your printable planner, with a list of kindness ideas to borrow if you need one.

What You’ll Need

  • One week
  • A pen, or the on-screen fields below
  • One small, doable act of kindness

My Ripple Project Planner

Pick one kind thing. Keep it doable. Do it quietly, with no big announcement. The quiet ones often count the most.

Ideas to borrow: sit with someone who’s alone, welcome a new kid, write a thank-you note, help carry something, share your stuff, give a real compliment, include someone left out, help at home without being asked.

My plan

After I did it

Ren’s reminder: Most kids are surprised by how good a tiny kind act feels, and how much it can mean to the person on the other end.

“No big announcement. You don’t have to tell anyone or post about it. Just you and the ripple.”
