Pick one small thing that’s bugging you, and turn it into something you can actually say. You don’t have to do the talk today. Just get ready for it.
⏱ About 10 minutes
You’ve got the book. Kit already gave you the recipe in Chapter 4. This page is where you practice it on a real thing, in private, before you ever say it out loud.
Write it the blaming way first, just to get it out. Then flip it into the recipe. Read both out loud and hear the difference. One starts a fight. One starts a talk.
Kit’s reminder: No rush on the real talk. Just having the recipe version ready makes it way easier when you decide you’re ready to say it.
“The blaming version is easy to think and terrible to use. The recipe version takes a second longer and works ten times better.”
