By using paxember.com (the "Site") and the resources we provide, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. "We" and "us" refer to Pax Ember, the publishing imprint of Makarios Media LLC, a small independent publisher based in the United States.
Our website and forms are designed for adults (parents, teachers, and guardians). Our books are written for kids ages 8 to 13, but the Site itself is meant to be used by an adult. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian should use the Site on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle children's information.

All content on the Site, including text, illustrations, characters (such as Pixel, Echo, Algo, Kit, Tashi, and Ren), book content, logos, and design, is owned by Makarios Media LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the free resources for the purposes described above. All other rights are reserved.
When you request a free resource, you may join our email list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. How we handle your email is described in our Privacy Policy.
Our books are sold and fulfilled through Amazon (Kindle Direct Publishing). Purchases made on Amazon are governed by Amazon's own terms and policies, and any returns, refunds, or delivery issues are handled by Amazon. Links from this Site to Amazon are provided for your convenience.
Pax Ember operates a YouTube channel and uses YouTube API Services to manage our own channel (uploading our own original videos, setting their metadata and thumbnails, scheduling them, and reading our own channel analytics). Our use of these services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We use the YouTube API only for our own channel and content, and we do not collect or store any other user's YouTube data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The Site links to third-party services and websites (such as Amazon, MailerLite, and others described in our Privacy Policy). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
